This Week on “Rock’s in Your Head”
Apologies for last week’s technical failure which prevented the presentation of the show. I’m back and all tested and ready for it today!
One of my hallmark or signature set themes is to group songs together that are in the same musical key, and this week I went a little crazy in doing that, but I think they all work. Come and hear for yourself today at 16 hours Universal Time, which is noon Eastern, 9am Pacific, on the one and only program featuring three hours of classic, album, and progressive rock from the 60’s and beyond.
Inspired by a listener, I have a Second Hour Superset from Traffic. It was quite hard to pick just five tracks, as you know there’s so much fine material from which to choose, but I think I represented the band quite well over its lifespan.
Also, I’ll have a classic from Boston, some ELO and Roy Wood, Eagles, the Black Crows, Jackson Brown and Night Ranger, just to name a few.
And what would a loud rock show be without a place to chat about what you’re hearing? Not much fun, I say, so I’ll be in the Global Voice chat area to kick it around with you during the show. Tell me what you like, what you don’t like, make requests, or just come on in and get your name mentioned on the air.
It all starts today, Wednesday the 7th, in just an hour and a half or so, and it’s only on the Global Voice, because you know “ROCK’S IN YOUR HEAD!”
