This Week on “Rock’s in Your Head”
On this week’s show, there’s lots of live music to get ya going, including the dead, the Allmans, Cheap Trick and Traffic, classics from Steve Miller and Bad Company, some bluesy guitar work from John Hammond and Pat Travers, and an unlikely instrumental from Loudon Wainwright III.. But that’s just for starters! Join me today and every Wednesday at sixteen hours UTC (currently noon Eastern, nine a.m. Pacific, 5pm in the UK and 6pm in central Europe) for three music-packed hours of classic, album, and progressive rock from the 1960’s and beyond.
Of course, no show would be complete without hearing what you want, and there’re so many ways for you to get those request in. You can get in touch at any time by emailing me at rock@theglobalvoice.info, you can tweet me at @SteveMatzura, or when the show is on live, join me in our TGV chat room on our Web page at http://www.theglobalvoice.info. If you send me the names of five things and the order in which you want to hear them, you get top billing in the second hour of the show, which I call the Second Hour Superset since it runs with limited commercial interruption and no talk from yours truly.
So come on in and rock your world with songs and artists you remember, and maybe a few you forgot about, Wednesdays, 16-19 UTC, because you know “ROCK’S IN YOUR HEAD!”
