We can now all stay in our own homes and talk to the world, but is that the same thing as face to face communication, and getting out and seeing people? Are social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook helping or hindering us in society, why is it that people on Twitter for example often trivialize things to the degree that they tweet that they're going to have a cup of tea or something like that? It's now perfectly possible to re-invent yourself and have a totally new identity on the internet: is this a good thing?
