Join The Global Voice in our first ever Produce a Promo Contest. You've heard the various promotional spots throughout the programming on The Global Voice. Now it's your chance to put your creative talents to work by producing your own promotional recording about The Global Voice.
The contest runs from November 3, 2009 through January 31, 2010. All entries must be received by 23:59 UTC on January 31st. Two members of The Global voice staff and one member from Serotek will serve as judges for the contest. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and production quality. The judges decision will be final and no discussion will be entered into.
The winner will be announced on Sunday, February 14th during the Attitude Test at 19 UTC, 2 p.m. US Eastern. The winner will also be notified by Email following the show.
The winner will receive a prize package provided by Serotek Corporation consisting of System Access Mobile screen reader, plus 12 months access to the System Access Mobile Network. The screen reader comes with 2 installations plus one U3 portable license. System Access Mobile works with Windows XP or later, including 64-bit and Windows 7. Total value of the prize package is $653. Ongoing access to the System Access Mobile Network is the sole responsibility of the winner.

Participants will produce a station element (ID, jingle, promo, liner, etc.) of up to 60 seconds for the Global Voice or any of it's services. The production may be regarding The Global Voice in general, aspects of the station such as the program gallery or web site, but excludes productions for individual programs.
Entries may contain content in languages other than English, as long as a written English translation is provided for any such material.
All entries must be submitted in MP3 format at 256kbps 44.1kHz stereo.
All entries must be sent to Contest@TheGlobalVoice.info as an attachment. Full contact details, including: name, address, and phone number must appear in the body of the message.
The Global Voice and Serotek reserve the right to use entries as they so choose but are under no obligation to use any entry whatsoever, including the winning entry.
Staff and immediate families of The Global Voice and Serotek are not eligible to enter and may not assist participants in production.
Previous contest winners are not eligible to enter.
